Jordan's Bio
Jordan Johnson is a native of Henry County and currently serves with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as the Area Representative for Southside Virginia, with a primary focus on Martinsville, Henry County, and Patrick County. She has been on staff with FCA for one year and is passionate about building relationships with coaches and athletes throughout the region.
Jordan was baptized in May of 2022 after rededicating her life to Christ. While she had always considered herself a Christian, as she grew older she began to take true ownership of her personal relationship with Christ. She is a 2006 graduate of Bassett High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Greensboro College in 2010. Prior to joining FCA staff, Jordan spent 14 years teaching elementary school.
A lifelong athlete, Jordan competed in cross country, track, and basketball growing up and continued her cross country and basketball careers at Greensboro College. She is a member of the Greensboro College Athletic Hall of Fame as part of the 2008–2009 women’s basketball team.
Jordan and her husband, Brandon—who teaches and coaches football at Bassett High School—live in Martinsville with their two children, Aliyah (11) and Jakobe (8). As a coach’s wife, Jordan sees firsthand how athletics can serve as a powerful mission field. Her heart is to help every coach and athlete grow in their relationship with Christ and to develop disciples who help transform the world.
